This property is in the ideal location with easy access to the M4, Carmathen Bay, West Wales, Gower, Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons National Park.  The coastline of Carmarthen Bay is only a short drive away with many great beaches to choose from, one of the closest being the wonderful Cefn Sidan with its golden sands stretching for over 8 miles. Directly opposite the property is a woodland park that has an abundance of wildlife and is a great place for walking, mountain biking and enjoy the beautiful nature and peaceful surroundings.

Ground Floor

Kitchen: Full equipped open-plan kitchen with island unit, Neff appliances, double Belfast sink, hot tap, combination microwave, oven, dishwasher, bean to cup coffee machine, full sized fridge/ freezer with ice maker and filtered water, induction hob, breakfast bar and stools.

Dining area: Large dining room table with chairs to sit up to 10. TV and a large selection of DVD's, books and board games. Bi-folding doors opening out on to rear garden.

Reception: Large lounge with TV and comfy sofas.

Reading room: Second lounge/reading room with wood burner.

Shower room: Shower unit with WC and wash basin. Perfectly located near side access door for pre and post hot tub use.

Utility room: Wash basin, washing machine and tumble dryer. 

First Floor

Bedroom 1: King sized bed, storage, vanity station and Juliet balcony. En-suite bathroom with shower, WC and wash basin.

C/O day – Fri. Underfloor heating throughout ground floor. Bed linen and towels provided. Travel cot and highchair provided on request (bed linen NOT provided for travel cot). Wi-Fi available. Ample parking in driveway and nearby. No pets. No smoking.

Welcome pack on arrival includes tea, coffee, sugar, milk.

The following items are also provided at the cottage for your stay… Kitchen: salt and pepper, kitchen roll, washing up liquid/dishwasher tabs, new dishcloths and scourer, general larder ingredients such as spices and herbs, oils, vinegars etc. Bathroom: soap and 2 toilet rolls per toilet. General cleaning products: bleach, shower cleaner, anti-bacterial spray etc.

**Please note - Hot tub not suitable for children under 5. Strictly no stag and hen parties allowed.

Access Information: All doors are 2’9” into bedrooms and en-suites. Parking area to the front of the house on a flat parking area. This area provides for a spacious and safe exit from vehicles. Access to all the bedrooms is via the staircase only.

Location

Llety Celyn is a detached property just under a mile from the villages of Cefneithin and Cross Hands. Both villages include local pubs, shops, restaurants and cafes. Cross Hands is near the A48 and therefore easy access on to M4 network making this a great base for exploring all of West Wales, South Wales and the Brecon Beacons National Park. 

In Pembrokeshire there are many great places to visit. Tenby is only a short drive away and with its sandy beaches, harbour, restaurants and small shops is a hugely popular for a day trip. This historic town is home to Ironman Wales and many other sporting activities throughout the year. Other great beaches include Saundersfoot, Amroth and Barafundle. Folly Farm , Oakwood Theme Park, Dinosaur Centre and Heatherton Activity park all provide a wide range of activities for all ages to enjoy.

The Gower Peninsula is officially an area of outstanding natural beauty and is also easily accessible from the property. From Rhosili, Llangenith to Mumbles there are many stunning beaches to visit.   The Carmarthen Bay coastline also has many great beaches including the impressive Cefn Sidan that stretches for over 8 miles. Pembrey Country Park includes a ski slope, adventure playground, trials, archery, lasertag, golf, horse riding and much more.  Burry Port Marina has long been a favourite place to take a stroll and get some sea air. Burry Port Marina became famous as it is where Amelia Earhart landed as the first woman to fly across the Atlantic Ocean. The Millennium Coastal Path runs along the coast and is popular with walkers, runners and cyclists.  The National Botanical Gardens of Wales is just over 4 miles away and well worth a visit. 

Directly opposite the property is Mynydd Mawr Woodland Park. The site has been regenerated as a mix of broadleaved woodland and grassland which is home to a diverse collection of wildlife. The area includes footpaths, picnic facilities, information points and a track for mountain bikers and horseriders.

 

Beaches

Cefn Sidan is a lovely 8 mile long stretch of beach perfect for families, or water sports and activities. 15 miles

 

Water Sports

Being so close to the coast there is an abundance of sea based activities including canoeing, kayaking, surfing, swimming and sailing. 15 miles

 

Walking

Many local trails and paths but also the Millennium path is popular. 15 miles.

 

Fishing

Carmarthen Bay offers great shore and boat fishing, including bass fishing trips available to book from Burry Port. 14 miles.

Excellent Trout fishing at Glanffrwd Fishery, day tickets available. 4 miles.

 

Golf

Ashburnham Golf Course is popular and so is Machynys Golf Course. 11 miles.


Cycling

The quiet country roads are ideal for cycling with rides to suit all ages, from beginners to experienced cyclists. 0.5 miles.

 

Pony trekking

Pembrey Country Park Equestrian Centre caters for all levels. Individuals and family treks available. 15 mile.

 

Hose Racing 

Ffos Las Race Course head to Ffos Las to experience a day at the races. 9 miles
