Reviews

Lovely cottage in a great location, perfect for a break on the Gower.

Mr J,

We arrived at the cottage during Storm Bert and it was a little cold as there was no heating on. We lit the fire and put the heaters on and it was soon cosy. The Cottage is very well equipped and comfortable, and it feels like you are staying in a home rather than a holiday rental. We didn't use the garden due to the weather, but it is a lovely self enclosed space with ample seating. The area is a walker's paradise and we didn't use the car throughout our stay. The pub was open all week and the Community Shop every day apart from Sunday, so we were well served with everything we needed. A tip for unloading your car - if you park temporarily at the top of the track when unloading, it's a downhill walk to the cottage. And if you car is at the bottom of the track at the end of the holiday, its also a downhill walk.

Mrs G,

Lovely cottage in a wonderful location. We managed to get our VW Golf up the lane - just. Truly dog-friendly accommodation; the garden is genuinely secure. The local shop has a wide selection - not just basics. Britannia Inn in the village and The KIng's Head at Llangennith are both welcoming and open every day. Good vegetarian menu at The King's Head. Lots of good walks straight from the doorstep.

Mrs C,

There was a bat in the kitchen when we arrived which we magaged to evict without harming it. Apart from that and my comments above we thought it was a lovely cottage and very comfortable. We had a very enjoyable week.

Mr C,

Only stayed a week but enjoyed our time - all those living in the cottages around were very friendly. Our Dog (our Labrador "Nell") loved the area with long walks beginning right on the door step, through the woods towards the sand-dunes and beach with an amazing café half way (half an hour to the café, then a further half hour to the beach - Perfect! The Britannia Inn 4 or 5 minutes walk down the hill - Dogs welcome - Food and Drinks good Would definitely consider coming again, any time of the year.

Mr H,

Lovely property and an amazing location. Very well appointed. Much easier to park at the bottom of the road than attempting to drive and up turn.

Ms F,

We absolutely loved our stay at Glenview. Felt at home and found it so relaxing, we didn't want to leave! Comfy beds and fantastic location. Ate at the local pub (the Britannia Inn) twice during our stay, walked miles from the front door.

Mrs R,

Stunning location and beautiful views.

Mr J,

Great two bed home for a break,

Mr L,

Very comfortable well equipped cottage with large enclosed garden with views. Great walks on the doorstep.

Mrs G,
