Reviews

A great house in a great location. Very comfortable and well equipped, we had everything we needed.

Dr C,

We booked Ty Glas for the family to stay together for a week after my sons wedding. He lives in the Mumbles so I know the area well and wanted somewhere central, and we certainly wasn't disappointed. The accommodation itself was clean, homely and was well equipped to the extent that as it was a week before Christmas we were able to cook a full Christmas dinner for 8 people with ease. With just a minutes walk to the high street the location was perfect for shopping and cafes with easy access to an Indian takeaway and fish and chip shop. The seafront restaurants were just a ten minute walk away. Would certainly recommend this property, thank you for a lovely stay.

Mrs H,

Great house in great location, A very spacious homely place to stay with everything you need to ensure a relaxing holiday. Two bathrooms and Parking a real bonus.

Mr M,

The house was beautiful and in a great location. One of the nicest homes we have ever stayed in.

Mrs N,

A lovely cottage, very well equipped to a high standard. Within walking distance to Shops & Sea with the added bonus of Car Parking.

Mrs D,

The house is extremely well equipped and could readily accommodate 6 people. We were a party of 3 adults, including an 80 year old, and a dachshund. We booked because of its proximity to beach but extensive work on the prom made it a long walk to access the beach. Verdi’s ice cream parlour was a welcome reward. The equipment and utensils in the house are very high spec, everything you could possibly need to self cater. No ground floor cloakroom unfortunately and the walk in shower is up on the second floor. Overall the property is more like a family home than a holiday let.

Mrs M,

A very comfortable and well equipped cottage in an ideal location.

Mrs C,

Well equipped house in a good location . Great for dog walks and cafes and restaurants. Parking space is at the back of the property, accessed by a very narrow lane. Paperwork confirmed access to property from 3pm but we were told we couldn't get in until 4pm as cleaners were still onsite- shame. Worth checking or calling before you arrive!

Mrs L,

Beautiful cottage . Fab holiday …will be back !!

Mrs W,

Very attractive home, comfortable and well appointed. Very nice outdoor space too. Bedrooms were all spacious with great beds. Loved the kitchen and all the equipment! Very close to the sea , shops and beautiful beaches.

Mrs K,

Wonderful house which was very homely and comfortable. Everything you may need during your stay was provided for. Joes (ice cream), Greg’s (bakery) and Johnnie’s (fish & chip) all within a stones throw which we really appreciated! Kids really enjoyed the big wheel on the pier.

Mrs O,

We’ve had a great week in a fabulous house. Everything was thought of by the owners for our convenience and comfort.

Past Customer,

We have loved our holiday here at the house in Mumbles, the detail is unique and to a very high standard. We found the information provided very useful and loved M&S round the corner as well as getting our chippy tea from Johnnie's. We had Dad‘s birthday meal at the mermaid which was lovely. Would definitely recommend a drive out to worms head, it was breathtaking. you can get pizzas and watch the sunset. Langland was good for food too Thanks for a wonderful stay

Past Customer,

We really enjoyed our stay in the Mumbles. The house is very lovely and homely. We ate a lot of ice cream and tried a new place called ripples which is just a short walk along the coastal path. The adults preferred Rhossili beach where as the kids preferred Langland as the body boarding waves were terrific. M&S around the corner was very handy for food and drink. Thank you for a lovely experience
