Reviews

Very comfortable and well equipped cottage with great views of the bay. More spacious than we expected from the photos, both downstairs and upstairs. Master bedroom also has the epic view and the second makes for a cosy children’s bedroom. Friendly neighbours and easy access* to shops and local attractions, beaches etc. *Yes as per other reviews the road up to the cottage is steep and narrow and parking outside the cottage more easily undertaken with a compact car.

Ms Turner L,

Lovely cottage with an amazing view of the bay and well equipped

Mrs T,

A delightful, old cottage, and ticked all the boxes apart from the location. The description should mention the very steep approach and parking, although free, would not be suitable for a large car. Although the beach and shops are close by, it’s a challenging walk back up to the cottage.

Mr H,

A beautiful location and the area is gorgeous! So much to do surrounding the property. Having its own parking space is also really handy. This cottage is not suitable for those with young children or any mobility struggles. The stairs inside are steep and very slippy in a sock or bare feet meaning footwear needs to be worn at all times. Carrying our baby up and down the stairs was quite hairy! We couldn’t enjoy the balcony pictured as it is also very steep up at the back of the garden. Well equipped and a nice sized space but cleanliness was poor but hopefully will be addressed for future stays!

Mrs Harrison D,

Location

Mumbles is the first pretty fishing village one meets when venturing away from Swansea towards the world acclaimed area of outstanding beauty known as the Gower. It is a great place to set up your base either to explore the myriad activities in, around and along the coastline or to settle and just luxuriate in the local resources that make Mumbles a great destination in its own right.
