Reviews

We felt lucky to have been able to book this lovely cottage for our Easter holiday. It was cheap enough for my 2 teenage children to have separate rooms, (not easy for a single Mum). It was close enough to the beach front and everything. We had a fabulous holiday. My son had surf lessons at Caswell Bay. We cycled to Swansea for an afternoon. We had a day out at Go Ape. We shopped in Swansea and visited Cardiff and visited some beaches. Fabulous location for everything.

Mrs S,

This cottage is in a great location for the Mumbles, just down the hill to the shops, cafes, prom and playground. Also just round the corner is an entrance to the nature reserve where you can walk over the headland to Bracelet Bay, this is a lovely outing / dog walk with great views and wildlife. The hill is very steep and it's best to park in a different street nearby. There is free parking on side streets further up which was fine in April. House is pretty small and basic but with all the things you need especially if you are going to be out on the beaches all day. The heating is good. We had a good time with a great week of weather!.

Mrs C,

in a good location with the town a few minutes walk away.

Mr W,

Comfortable house in a great location. The steep hill is great exercise for strong walkers. Excellent shower.

Mr B,

Lovely cottage in ideal location in a quiet street a few mins from Mumbles shops and promenade with path to the nature reserve next to the cottage. We had a great time with our two sons and dog exploring the local area. Cottage has everything we needed and was very warm and good value. Would recommend getting the visitors parking permit.

Mr W,

Location

Mumbles is the first pretty fishing village one meets when venturing away from Swansea towards the world acclaimed area of outstanding beauty known as the Gower. It is a great place to set up your base either to explore the myriad activities in, around and along the coastline or to settle and just luxuriate in the local resources that make Mumbles a great destination in its own right.
