Description

Limeslade is a small, coastal area located on the Gower Peninsula in Swansea, Wales. It is situated southwest of the city of Swansea and is known for its picturesque views of the Bristol Channel. Limeslade is part of the Mumbles community, being adjacent to the popular seaside village of Mumbles, where you can find shops, ice-cream parlours, pubs and excellent children's play facilities. Langland Bay (1.5 miles) has a great brasserie and cafe on the beach. The city of Swansea with its Marina and many attractions is 4.5 miles away, whilst Rhossili Bay Beach is within a 17-mile drive. Worms Head Causeway is definitely worth a visit, providing a host of walking opportunities along with the option to view the famous Devil’s Bridge.

The bungalow is well presented and provides a lovely space for families or couples. Enter the property into the open-plan living area with soft seating, a dining table with chairs, a Smart TV and an electric flame-effect fire. The compact kitchen area is ideal for preparing a lovely dinner after a long walk on the beach. Off the living area is the shower room and the two bedrooms, one room has a double bed and the other, bunks.

Through the patio doors in the bunk room and up a few steps is the rear decked area with seating, perfect for a drink on warm summer evenings.

Reviews

A small, but well appointed space, in a good location.

Mrs B,

Nice property. Good location.

Mrs C,

Mixed bag. Great location and loved being near the beach. Photos on website don't truly represent what we found in terms of cleanliness - we were quite disappointed when we arrived. Bathroom and bedroom quite mouldy and some equipment not working. If you ask for a highchair for your toddler don't expect to get one...

Mr H,

Beautifully presented property close to hidden bays and lovely restaurants with stunning views. Right on the edge of the Gower and within short car journeys to glorious, dog friendly beaches (3 Cliffs Bay, Oxwich and Rhossilli).

Mr H,

Cosy, clean and comfortable accommodation for our family of four plus dog. Easy to get to and a perfect location for exploring the area and all Mumble has to offer. Lovely welcome gift too.
