Reviews

This property and our stay was faultless, the house has everything you would need, it’s comfortable, warm and well equipped. The location is spot on for the beach and walking routes and the area is beautiful. we did lots of local walks and more often than not ended up in The Ship, which is a proper country pub with superb food. There were 7 of us, which was 5 adults, 2 teenagers and a dog and everyone of us enjoyed this house and we would happily pay a return visit to this house as it was faultless. How anyone can find fault with this house and location is beyond me, it felt like a home away from home. Perfect.

Mr T,

Lovely property only a very short walk from the beach and Port Eynon, will definitely look to go back again.

Mr S,

We loved the location of this property as it's so close to the beach. We all slept incredibly well & loved the log burner in the evenings after stormy days at the beach.

Ms S,

As a whole we were delighted to stay at this property. The garden was fantastic and secure which was perfect for the toddler in our party. The location is phenomenal and close to local amenities as well as the beach. We will definitely be returning!

Mrs C,

The house is perfectly located for the beach. It is easy to pop back to the house. Port Eynon (and ice cream and fish and chips) is a short walk along the boardwalk.

Mrs S,

We enjoyed the holiday, however the standard of cleaning was inconsistent. The bedrooms were good, the bedding excellent. Unfortunately the kitchen appeared to have only been surface-wiped. There were marks on the table-cloth, the plate rack was very dirty (we cleaned it), drawers, cupboard doors and freezer drawers needed deeper cleaning. The cooker was good. In the bathroom we had to be careful because we found a deep crack in the toilet seat; we reported this when we left. The bathroom wastebin didn't contain a liner and was dirty. On inspection it appeared that someone had spat some rice in there; we disinfected this and cleaned with boiling water. For your information we reported that the lounge door lock was broken; had the door been shut we would have been locked inside! We removed the lock and left with note for the cleaners to find.

mr Mark B,
