Description

If you are looking for a traditional Welsh holiday cottage, then look no further - Middleton Hall Cottage (the birthplace of the explorer - Edgar Evans who was a member of the Polar Party on Robert Falcon Scott's ill-fated expedition to the South Pole in 1911-1912) has wonderful views over the Rhossili countryside and out across the Bristol Channel to the Devon coast.

The cottage backs onto Rhossili Down, with a rich variety of bird life and freely roaming ponies and donkeys, which can be appreciated from the open plan layout of the ground floor. There are plenty of walks in all directions from the house, including Mewslade, Fall Bay, Worms Head, Rhossili beach and Llangennith.

Reviews

A great cottage. A really special place to unwind and relax and enjoy being outside. So much right in the doorstep. We’ll definitely come back x

mrs C,

Lovely location. Beautiful cottage with outstanding views and walks

Mrs B,

Can actually contact you guys to sort out any problems with a swift response

Mrs Marilyn C,

The kitchen drawers didn't shut and the cupboard under the cooker was broken...you had to pull the kick board out from the next cupboard to push the drawer shut... shower door needs a new rubber seal at the bottom to get rid or the mould. Shame that the little things stand out...a cottage at that price should be perfect..... as I have been before I know what it can be like!

Miss Clare B,

Location

The village of Rhossili is on the south western tip of the Gower Peninsula. Located on a ridge, it affords spectacular views over Rhossili Bay and Worms Head, a fascinating outcrop of land comprising two rocky islands joined to the mainland by a narrow causeway accessible only at low tide. The village boasts a pub, cafe, shop and National Trust gift shop.
