Reviews

Very nice cottage & garden with lovely view, great base for walking/cycling and exploring Gower. Would not hesitate to book again.

Miss W,

Attractive property and grounds, your travel instructions were accurate and easily understood. The pubs you mentioned were very good. the various beauty spots were within easy reach, at this time of the year the roads were nice and quite. All in all, a very nice break for us.

Mr R,

Good size rooms all round especially the kitchen/diner and lounge. Large fridge freezer in the utility room was very useful. Good location for walking but pubs and shops a distance away.

Mr G,

We did leave notes in the property to highlight a few areas to consider. Doors not closing, baby gate was temperamental, grill and BBQ both had food from previous occupants left, extractor very greasy.

Mr Joe B,

Everything was fine we’ve stayed before lovely cottage and location but it wasn’t clean . Cobwebs with flies . We just cleaned it and continued to enjoy our holiday .

Mrs Julie M,

Generally very good. High standard of accommodation

Mrs Helen H,

Great location near to beaches and good local pub. Good size garden and equipment for bbq’s. Spacious and comfortable

Mr Peter H,

We had a great week at Orchard cottage. The cottage is well equiped and very comfortable, a real home from home.

Mr Michael C,

Dirty laundry from previous visitors not collected despite contacting and being promised it would be on a certain day. Leaking shower had caused mould Growth over kitchen door raised a number of times in maintenance book by previous visitors. No outside bin to put full black bag waste leading to build up of smells due to having children staying still in nappies.

Mr Alun D,

Very clean, well equipped and very comfortable beds

Ms Katherine P,

Fabulous place to stay. Great kitchen and cosy lounge. Lovely views over the river. Perfectly placed for exploring.

Mrs Helen L,

Location

While places such as Mumbles, Langland, Oxwich and Port Eynon to the south of Gower are popular destinations, the hidden beauty of Gower can be found in the north of the peninsula.
