Reviews

We had a fabulous week at your lovely house, loved Langland Bay, Surfside cafe and Langland Brasserie. We even got some sun on our faces, sitting outside sipping wine, watching the surfers. Also loved Gin and Tapas, Verdi’s and Pierre bistro. We ate and drank very well. Thanks for the welcome back to Cheers.

Past Customer,

What a beautiful property. We have been coming to mumbles for 15 years. Plus this is far the best property we have stayed in spotless and very well equipped. Thank you for the welcome pack and fresh flowers. It was a lovely gesture. We will definitely be returning and look forward to it. Many thanks

Past Customer,

We arrived last Saturday for a short break just to get away and we stayed at Saint Jude and without seeming rude. It was bloody perfect in every way. Many thanks for the spotless, well equipped and very welcoming home from home.

Past Customer,

We have stayed in many properties around Swansea, but this is by far the best spotlessly clean on arrival comfortable beds and such a lovely welcome tree plus fresh flowers. Thank you a beautiful home in a stunning location. We plan to return for a further day in the future.

Past Customer,

Great location and a beautiful, well equipped home.

Mrs H,

We have visited mumbles for over 12 years and stayed in lots of properties, but this is our favourite one yet. A beautiful home in a lovely location. Went to lots of beaches and walks and had sunny but cold weather. We can’t wait to stay again thank you. Thanks for the welcome hamper too, it’s been a few years since we have had these in properties at mumbles it was greatly appreciated by us and our Beagle

Past Customer,

We have stayed in Mumbles many times in different cottages. Our stay here at St Judes has been a happy one. Everything we needed is catered for including the welcome goodies. The only thing wrong was the rain, but never mind we enjoyed the comfort provided in this delightful cottage. Thank you

Past Customer,

A brilliant week yet again, even if the weather was hit and miss. We love the changes you’ve made the to the house. We will see you again soon.

Past Customer,

Our second stay at St Judes, though we have stayed in Mumbles on numerous occasions and have rented many lovely properties, but this is our favourite for location facilities, an overall comfort. Many thanks for the much appreciated goodie tray and extra touches e.g. flowers, cleaning products, milk and ample crockery etc. We managed to do plenty of walking all over Mumbles Hill Cliff footpath to Caswell and further afield to Rhossili and Three cliffs Bay. Despite the very mixed weather. We look forward to returning next year. Very best wishes.

Past Customer,

Very well presented, equipped and comfortable property, with ample parking accessed from a small lane which leads to the rear of this and of nearby properties. Everywhere spotlessly clean with good quality facilities and plenty of room to spread out. There was a lovely welcome tray with delicious goodies for both humans and doggies, cleaning products in the kitchen and fresh milk in the fridge. The fresh flowers in the living room were also much appreciated. Last, but not least, the view overlooking Swansea Bay and location are wonderful - we enjoyed the flat walks to pubs, cafes and restaurants, not to mention woodland and castle walks right on the doorstep. There is a very busy road at the front of the property but the view and efficient double glazing which minimises any noise more than compensates! We will definitely be returning for a 3rd visit to St.Jude's next year.

Mr M,

A very enjoyable stay again. Some sunshine and quite a bit of rain. Very impressed with all the changes to the cottage. Thank you for the biscuits et cetera on our arrival. Much appreciated. Looking forward to coming back again lynne and dave

Location

Mumbles is the first pretty fishing village one meets when venturing away from Swansea towards the world acclaimed area of outstanding beauty known as the Gower. It is a great place to set up your base either to explore the myriad activities in, around and along the coastline or to settle and just luxuriate in the local resources that make Mumbles a great destination in its own right.
