Description
This 19th century former watermill is set in the accommodating location of Parkmill. Few places on the Gower can boast such a variety of visitor attractions and natural highlights as this delightful hamlet just 8 miles west of Swansea.
Lying midway between the villages of Penmaen and Ilston, it's a short but lovely walk to Three Cliffs Bay and just 10 minutes' drive to Mumbles. Pennard Castle, the Gower Heritage Centre, the medieval deer park and Parc le Breos are also conveniently placed on the doorstep.
Renovation of this 150 year-old property has been both sympathetic and creative; retaining original features including vaulted ceilings and oak beams, fixtures and fittings and quirky design details. The landscaping in the back garden is delightful and another key feature is that built over three floors, a stone spiral staircase rises up through the centre connecting the floors.

Bedroom 2: Double bed, wall-mounted mirror, large wardrobe and chest of drawers with contemporary wet room style en suite.
Bedroom 3: 2 x single beds, mirror fronted wardrobes and single chest of drawers.
Shower/Wet Room: Fully tiled with walk-in shower, wall-mounted basin and WC.
First Floor: Stone spiral staircase leads to the first floor living accommodation.
Kitchen: Fridge/freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, double oven, microwave, extractor hood, 4-ring induction hob, under counter lighting, a table and chairs for 8. Please note: There is also a 2-ring gas hob which is not for visitor use.
Garden Lounge: Steps down to this area with leather sofa, bar billiards table, bookcase and TV with free view, and bi-folding doors onto the garden.
Reception: Wood burning fire, a wall-mounted Smart television and an L-shaped leather sofa. French doors lead onto a decked terrace with steps down to the garden.
Second Floor
Master Bedroom Suite: King size bed, desk and wardrobe. Steps up to dressing area and door to en suite bathroom, with low beamed ceiling.
External: A sunken hot tub, cedar barrel sauna and outside shower, handy for when returning from the beach. There is an enclosed, private rear garden with a range of terraces and some areas laid to artificial lawn and backing onto beautiful woodland. The garden is gated and benefits from plenty of storage to house bikes, surfboards and general holiday items. Parking at the front for 2 cars.
