Reviews

Excellent location for numerous activities, whether walking the nearby coastal paths or adventuring further afield to the Gower Peninsula or even enjoying the local beach or just taking in the breathtaking view. All in all the perfect holiday accommodation.

Mr T,

Lovely apartment. Location and view cannot be bettered. Had a lovely week.

Mrs R,

Great location - the view out of the bay window is superb.

Mr Z,

Lovely property. The location and views could not be improved. Have been visiting for many years.

Mrs B,

Property was ideally situated in Langlands Bay to take advantage of the sun. The view over the bay was perfect. It is a really nice property in good condition, just one or two very small niggles. Would recommend anyone to stay here as long as you can handle steps. The property is not the cheapest but is good value.

Mr Malcolm E,

All scores were high except for the property information on your website, with regard to the number of steps for the only route from parking area to property access. Your information states 14 steps which is correct, but disregards a separate adjoining set of 7 more steps, which have to be negotiated for access and exit ! This was an unexpected surprise, and could have caused a problem for a less able person.

Mrs Kay W,

Issue with the toilet flush on last day of holiday. Managed to contact office before it closed Friday afternoon and soon afterwards received message to say member of maintenance team would be out shortly, no one turned up. However real problem occurred later in evening when elderly resident in flat below had to come up to say water was leaking into her flat. Phoned office and left answer machine message. Eventually found stopcock with aid of neighbour but then had no water for remainder of our stay. Left second answer machine message before we left on Saturday but no response to either. I classed this as an emergency as she had water within her light fittings so it would be good to get a response if the answer machine is monitored. Fortunately for us the problem occurred at the end of our holiday and we managed without water. I must say the elderly neighbour was a delight who at the age of 90 was more concerned for us even offing to make us cups of tea, but we took ourselves off for a breakfast elsewhere.

Mrs Eleanor D,

The whole visit was totally impersonal. We used be able to collect the keys from the office. Then we had an issue with the remotes for the television which did not match the instruction booklet;: instead of phoning our local and formerly very friendly and efficient office just down the road, we got through to Norfolk. The response to our remote control dilemma was not reassuring. (As it was, my husband was able to sort out the remotes, using the one from the bedroom TV). We left early in the week, due to the bad weather and illness. There was no indication about how to leave the flat, so we tidied up as best as we could. We didnot get this information till the day before we should have left. Finally, your black logo on the window of the local office does not make you think of sea, sand and sunshine. Disappointing - we had been coming to this property for a number of years, but will have to think again.

Mrs Lidia D,

The view from the property was beautiful, just magical. The owners sent us a gift of brownies from a local cake maker which was a lovely surprise

Miss Sian W,

The accomodation was absolutely fabulous, location and views breathtaking. Absolutely the break we needed. We will hopefully be able to return. The only minor issue we had was the oven was very greasy and smoked badly when we went to use it, just needed a clean.

miss C T,

Location

The areas of Langland and Rotherslade are two of the most prestigious in all of Swansea and south Gower with an interesting mix of villas, houses and apartments nestled into hilly, coastal landscapes. Only a 15 minute walk from the centre of Mumbles, they sit neatly between the beaches of Caswell and Limeslade and are popular all-year round destinations for both visitors and locals alike
