Description

Bwthyn Bach, translated from Welsh into English means "small cottage", is a delightful and cosy, terraced cottage located ideally for the far-reaching promenade of Mumbles. It is ideal for a couple looking for the picture-perfect cottage experience whilst being based near to the shops, restaurants, cafes and bars of Mumbles.

Perfectly pieced together, this charming and characterful cottage benefits from a view across Swansea Bay from the rear sun-terrace and from the feature windows within, it has been styled to a high standard and would provide a warm welcome to all of its guests come rain or shine.

Well worth mentioning also that the spectacular local beaches of Rotherslade, Langland Bay and Caswell Bay can be found by exploring the fantastic coastal path and the focal points of Mumbles Pier and the dramatic lighthouse are just around the corner from Bwthyn Bach.

Reviews

We thought that this property was a little gem set in the centre of the old fishing village. It was so convenient for access to the sea front and Knab Rock, famous for Verdi's cafe. It was quiet and secluded and had a lovely patio area at the rear.

Dr T,

A wonderful cosy, clean cottage which has superb attention to detail throughout. So inviting on entering, with hospitality gifts too. Everything you need is there, it's fully equipped, it's been very well thought out for guests to have a home from home experience while relaxing. Outstanding hosts made our stay such a pleasure too & we couldn't thank them enough. Communication was excellent and so friendly. The cottage is in a perfect location, coastal walking, eating or shopping, there's some great nearby places to eat or grab a coffee/ ice-cream. We'll certainly return to this gorgeous little cottage in The Mumbles. Thank you..

Ms R,

Great little cottage in good position in heart of Mumbles. Promenade just 20m away. Loads of restaurants, beach and amenities immediately on hand. Terrace is a real sun trap with view of sea over roof tops. Parking close just at bottom of steep steps. Everything in cottage modern, clean and tasteful decor. Had great arrival emails from original cottages and useful check in emails with ideas for the week from the owner. Great break.

Location

Mumbles is the first pretty fishing village one meets when venturing away from Swansea towards the world acclaimed area of outstanding beauty known as the Gower. It is a great place to set up your base either to explore the myriad activities in, around and along the coastline or to settle and just luxuriate in the local resources that make Mumbles a great destination in its own right.
