Reviews

Very nice cottage, everything what you want is available, very nice location, close to the centre and the beach

Mr P,

Good location, comfortable, well equipped- lovely area

Mr A,

Lovely clean cottage. Superb location. We had a great holiday. Thanks

Mr J,

Oyster Cottage was a perfect home-from-home for our family holiday. The little details like finding family games in the drawers, a well-sized bathroom with a bath and quiet location made it ideal for a break with young children. The fantastically well equipped kitchen also made it possible for cooking family meals at home with little fuss. A super place to stay!

Mrs A,

My 2 adult sons & I loved staying in this spacious cottage with our yorkie. It was very clean, comfortable & homely with lovely views of the castle & bay. The garden is pretty & has a deck where we enjoyed sitting in the sunshine during the evening. It has great amenities & is close to a variety of shops. We hope to stay here again another year.

mrs H,

This was a lovely cottage in a lovely area. We had a great week.

Mr F,

The cottage was excellent, I have been to many properties in Mumbles it's one of the best. Its central to all amenities. Randal Mathieson

Mr M,

Parking is the major issue, with very narrow road access and parking of neighbours cars. The step down floor to the rear bedroom is dangerous, the floors upstairs are creaky and the door handles are noisy which makes it difficult when getting up in the night without disturbing friends. Also, the bathroom needs a proper shower over the bath

Mr Roger W,

Excellent accommodation.

Mr Geoffrey H,

We have been using your company for many years and have kept coming back. A good choice of property's, although the price does keep going up year after year.

Mr Steve G,

The cottage was lovely and in a perfect position. On street parking was a big bonus, and a great pub a couple of minutes walk away was also fantastic. The beds were comfortable, the cottage was warm, the showers were hot and everything was lovely and clean. The one thing we were not so keen about was the online instruction manual. We later found one in the cottage but initially thought that the online one was the only one. I also did not like having to pay an extra £20 for insurance. It should be included in the price. These are two minor gripes though.

Mrs Jane F,

Cottage was lovely. Cleaning was not awful, just a bit average.

Mr Shaun M,

A brilliany stay at Oyster Cottage. Only issue for us was the parking issue- very narrow street.

Mrs Victoria E,

Location

Mumbles is the first pretty fishing village one meets when venturing away from Swansea towards the world acclaimed area of outstanding beauty known as the Gower. It is a great place to set up your base either to explore the myriad activities in, around and along the coastline or to settle and just luxuriate in the local resources that make Mumbles a great destination in its own right.
