Description

This cottage has been fully refurbished and is presented to a very high standard and is located close to Oystermouth Castle. It has 4 bedrooms, 2 reception rooms and has beautiful views over Swansea Bay.

The cottage is close to the Swansea Bay promenade, and Mumbles village is only a short walk away. The traditional Beaufort pub is just a stone's throw away.

Accommodation

Ground Floor: Accessed from the front up 4 steps.

Reception/Dining Area: Open plan with access onto the rear garden. L-shaped sofa, occasional furniture and a spiral staircase leading to the first floor terrace. The oak dining table has 6 chairs.

Kitchen: Dishwasher, large fridge/freezer, microwave, single oven with separate grill, 4-ring gas hob and washing machine with an island in the middle.

Reception 2: 2 x sofas, a flatscreen TV with BT Vision package.

Cloakroom: WC and hand basin.

First Floor

Master Bedroom: Double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers, an en suite shower room with WC and basin and a set of double doors lead directly onto the terrace.

Bedroom 2: Double bed and a wardrobe with drawers.

Bedroom 3: Single bed and wardrobe with access onto the first floor terrace.

Bedroom 4: Single bed and chest of drawers.

Family Bathroom: Bath, WC and basin and a separate shower cubicle.

External: The property has a rear garden with patio and garden furniture and a first floor terrace with rattan furniture and excellent sea views.

Parking is on road and is close by (approx. 100m).

Reviews

Lack of comfy cushions for outside seating, fridge freezer made an awful screeching banging noise for approx 5 mins on a regular basis. Wet washing left in the washing machine, tv had no instructions bins not emptied in bedroom shower plug blocked tray filled up in a matter of minutes in en-suite , no oven gloves and no grill pan and a dirty black mouldy shower head in the en-suite.

How difficult parking is should be made clearer, though once inside the property is great. Heating needs more explanation as the bedrooms were cold. However kitchen extremely well appointed and views exceptional. With room to sleep 6 one key is not sufficient

Mumbles is the first pretty fishing village one meets when venturing away from Swansea towards the world acclaimed area of outstanding beauty known as the Gower. It is a great place to set up your base either to explore the myriad activities in, around and along the coastline or to settle and just luxuriate in the local resources that make Mumbles a great destination in its own right.
