Description

The wonderful Cross holiday cottage is located at the heart of Llangennith, Gower. The property is a short walk from the magnificent beach and sand dunes of Llangennith beach which are very popular with families, walkers and surfers alike.

The village of Llangennith has a good local pub 'The Kings Head' which serves a selection of real ales and good home cooked food, a tea room, and PJ's surf shop for all of your latest surfing fashion and accessories. Groceries can also be purchased (Easter to September) at Broughton Farm Caravan Park which is conveniently located next to the wonderful, sweeping Broughton beach. There are many walks in the immediate area with the walk across Rhossili Downs offering some of the most amazing views of Rhossili and Worm's Head (particularly good at sunset).

The property was rebuilt in the late 1990's retaining the original front wall and floor plan but now has a large family kitchen to the rear and a second bathroom on the first floor.

Reviews

Nestled near the heart of Llangennith village, this well equipped cottage is a great home away from home. A short drive to the stunning beach or a 25 min walk along narrow country roads. We were a family of 7 aged 6 to 78 years and found ample space in the property. Thanks for a great stay.

Mrs A,

Great property with fantastic views in a gorgeous location

mr Paul F,

There were no cushions in the lounge, we had to use pillows. The back door has small gaps between the wooden planks and there wasn’t any rubber trimming at bottom end of door. The bedroom nearest the bathroom - pillow was damp one morning. Noticed watermarks on ceiling above bed by the window. I had to switch beds for rest of the week! On arrival one of the bedside lamps wasn’t working due to used bulb. But other than that we had a happy and relaxed week!

Mrs Jannice F,

Location

Offering one of the most magnificent surfing beaches in the area, Llangennith is a quintessential British coastal village situated in north-west Gower. With a village green, twelfth-century stone church and the very popular King's Head Hotel serving traditional pub food, it is an ideal location for those seeking a laid back beach holiday.
