Description and Location

An elegant three storey townhouse in the heart of Mumbles offering flexible accommodation for 9 people in 5 bedrooms. Option of short breaks of 3-4 nights (October to April) and to rent the lower two floors only for 3 bed accommodation that sleeps 5 at a reduced rate.

The Town House boasts lovely views of Underhill Park, private parking and a terraced garden for alfresco dining. There are period features throughout including fireplaces in most rooms and even the Victorian range is still intact (although not working). Stylishly decorated with a coastal theme, this unique holiday home is homely, dog friendly and in the perfect location for making the most of all that the village of Mumbles has to offer.

The sandy beaches of Langland and Rotherslade are only a 7 minute walk away as are the shops, cafes and galleries of 'top Mumbles'. Oystermouth Castle, the promenade and Mumbles fabulous new Oyster Wharf development are also within strolling distance.

Hallway: Storage cupboard and cloakroom.

Lounge: 2 x sofas, large pouffe, TV, DVD player and wood burning stove.

Kitchen/Diner: A large kitchen, breakfast bar, electric oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, fridge/freezer and radio/CD player. Table and seating for 9, storage cupboards filled with toys and games.

Utility Room: Washing machine, WC, wash hand basin.

First Floor

Master Bedroom: King size bed, dressing table, chest of drawers, wardrobe and TV.

Bedroom 2: Twin beds, chest of drawers and hanging rail.

Bedroom 3: Day bed, chest of drawers and dressing table.

Family Bathroom: WC, bath, shower cubicle and hand basin.

Second Floor

Bedroom 4: Double bed, walk in wardrobe with a large shower cubicle.

Bedroom 5: 2 x single beds, 2 x chest of drawers and wardrobe.

Mumbles is the first pretty fishing village one meets when venturing away from Swansea towards the world acclaimed area of outstanding beauty known as the Gower. It is a great place to set up your base either to explore the myriad activities in, around and along the coastline or to settle and just luxuriate in the local resources that make Mumbles a great destination in its own right.

The Townhouse is a wonderful , welcoming place to stay with friends or family. The friendly owners, Bron and Ges, have done a fantastic restoration job full of creature comforts while still maintaining the lovely atmosphere and features of the original Victorian house. The location is brilliant - a couple of minutes' walk into Mumbles with its great little shops and cafes, ten minutes in the other direction to the coast. If you're driving, the whole of the Gower is on your doorstep. Make sure you visit the brilliant Mumbles Ale House (the family's other business) and if you're having a celebration at the Townhouse, Cwtch Cakes deliver! - Mrs H, May 2017 

The house was newly refurbished, clean, spacious, and yet warm and cozy. We enjoyed the historic elements of the home, tasteful decor, and the wood burning stove in the lounge.
