Mumbles is the first pretty fishing village one meets when venturing away from Swansea towards the world acclaimed area of outstanding beauty known as the Gower. It is a great place to set up your base either to explore the myriad activities in, around and along the coastline or to settle and just luxuriate in the local resources that make Mumbles a great destination in its own right.
We came to Mumbles for a family event, the cottage provided us with a very comfortable base for our holiday and we have had a very enjoyable stay. -Mrs H, May 2017
We have had a really lovely holiday here. This is our first at The Mumbles, we usually go to Cornwall, this area has stunning beaches and we were blessed with glorious sunshine. Its is on a par with St. Ives and we think even a little better. We ate at Bistrot Pierre, Prezzo, Verdi's and Cafe 93 a number of times and haven't had a poor meal at any. We sought out pubs used by the locals and met some lovely people who have all wanted to chat with us, really nice. We loved the Pilot and the The Ale House too. The accommodation was great, ideally situated and the parking at the rear was a bonus, Swn Y Mor is a light and airy house with lots of space. We would definitely stay here again.
