Description and Location
This characterful and attractive 3-bedroom Fisherman's cottage was built in 1850 circa. Sitting in an elevated position in Thistleboon: one of the original parts of Mumbles village it offers partial bay views from the front patio and bedroom 3. The cottage, which is comfortably appointed throughout provides accommodation for 4 people in 1 double bedroom and 2 single bedrooms. The property benefits from being in a quiet location, whilst the seafront and the amenities of Mumbles are only minutes away.
The double fronted cottage is spread over 2 floors. The ground floor has a lounge with 2 two seat sofas, wood burner, flatscreen TV and side tables. There is a table and chairs for 4.
The modern kitchen has storage space with appliances including: a gas range oven with 5 ring hob, washing machine and fridge/freezer. At the rear of the kitchen is the very modern wetroom which has a glass basin and large shower cubicle. There is a separate cloakroom with WC and basin.
The modern and quirky shower room joins the outside with the inside as an old stone wall is used as one side of the shower.
The first floor has 3 bedrooms and a bathroom. The light and airy master bedroom has a double bed, hanging rail and small dressing table. There are 2 single bedrooms, both with hanging space.
The family bathroom has a bath, WC and basin.
External: There is a small sitting area to the front of the property.

Mumbles is the first pretty fishing village one meets when venturing away from Swansea towards the world acclaimed area of outstanding beauty known as the Gower. It is a great place to set up your base either to explore the myriad activities in, around and along the coastline or to settle and just luxuriate in the local resources that make Mumbles a great destination in its own right.
Thank you for a fabulous stay in a gorgeous cottage. So peaceful and had everything we needed too.
