Bryn Parc is a grand, family house that sleeps 8 comfortably and is within easy strolling distance of Mumbles and the beaches of Langland and Rotherslade. Pet friendly and with plenty of parking, it is newly renovated and combines period features and character with plenty of space both inside and out.
Slade Road is set in its own walled garden with a picket fence and gate so that it is safe and secure for children and dogs alike. It is elegantly furnished and there are some delightful features including traditional fire places, modern bathrooms, rooms and landings on different levels.
Floor to ceiling Georgian-style windows make this a particularly light and bright holiday home.
Newton is a popular residential area of Mumbles sitting high above Underhill Park, with two pubs, a convenience store and an excellent local butcher on the doorstep. It's a 10-minute walk down a hill to the village of Mumbles with its mix of shops, boutiques, galleries, cafes, bars and restaurants, as well as an imposing Norman castle.
Hallway/Dining Area: Table and chairs with fireplace.
Cloakroom: Wash hand basin and WC.
Reception 1: 4 x armchairs and a 2-seat sofa, occasional furniture and a TV on a stand.
Reception 2: 2 x sofas, a footstool and an armchair with footstool plus a TV on a stand.
Kitchen: Range cooker and an aga, an American-style fridge, double oven, microwave, toaster and kettle. Dining table with 8 chairs, a large wooden dresser and soft seating which include a sofa and an armchair. Two sets of French doors lead outside to a patio and garden.
Larder: Dishwasher and washing machine and an additional fridge and freezer in the larder off the kitchen.
Master Bedroom: King size bed, dressing table, full length mirror and an ottoman. There is a step down into an en suite bathroom with walk in shower, bath, wash hand basin and WC with a baby bath if needed in the cupboard.
Bedroom 2: 1 x single bed, 1 x 4 ft double bed and wash hand basin.
Family Bathroom: Shower cubicle, electric shower, WC and wash hand basin.
Bedroom 3: Double bed.
Bedroom 4: Double bed with en suite shower room with wash hand basin and WC.
External: Parking in the drive for 2 cars. Leading across the front of the house is a side garden (through a picket fence) with paved patio area and outdoor dining for 6 people. The patio leads onto a lawned garden with pretty planted borders, a pergola with bistro style dining set and a large feature bench with elaborate decorative mosaic. There is also a raised ornamental pond.
There is also on road parking to the front of the property.

Mumbles is the first pretty fishing village one meets when venturing away from Swansea towards the world acclaimed area of outstanding beauty known as the Gower. It is a great place to set up your base either to explore the myriad activities in, around and along the coastline or to settle and just luxuriate in the local resources that make Mumbles a great destination in its own right.
