Description and Location

A modern yet traditionally styled detached house in rural Gower boasting countryside views and offering spacious holiday accommodation for 6 people.

Dog friendly and with a lovely sense of space and privacy, this practical holiday home is located in Knelston, a hamlet nestled at the foot of Cefn Bryn which is the highest point on Gower.

It really is the perfect place from which to explore the peninsular as so many fabulous beaches are within a 5 to 10 minute drive including Oxwich, Horton, Port Eynon and Rhossili, and the lesser known Mewslade and Fall Bay.

Knelston, which is thought to date back to the Bronze Age, sits alongside the popular village of Reynoldston where visitors will find the King Arthur, a thriving country pub that serves excellent food and boasts cosy nooks and real fires. Fairy Hill, a boutique country house hotel, is also close by offering fine dining and beautiful grounds.

Accommodation
The approach to the house is via a driveway flanked by a stone wall and wooden fence and where the front lawn is ideal for ball games with or without a dog.

Enter the house through a glazed door into a spacious hallway with practical wooden flooring and where most of the rooms flow from it. Solid wooden doors give this relatively new build a rustic feel, a theme that continues into the large kitchen with its country style wooden cupboards.

The kitchen is well equipped with an electric cooker and oven, dishwasher and microwave as well as a large fridge/freezer. There's space for a kitchen table and 4 chairs, plus a useful utility room alongside housing a washing machine and tumble drier and offering even more storage space.

The double aspect lounge diner is a comfortable, classically decorated space with plenty of soft seating. There's a 2 and 3 seater sofa as well as an armchair, flat screen TV on a cabinet with DVD player, coffee table, books, games and electric flame effect fire. At one end, a dining table can seat 6 comfortably.

Also off the hallway is a WC with wash hand basin and, separately, one of the house's two double bedrooms. The en-suite bedroom is spacious with a brass double bedstead and plenty of storage alongside and above including bedside cabinets, wardrobes and a dressing table. In the shower room which is bright and modern and fully tiled is a shower cubicle, WC and wash hand basin.

There is a further double room which has a brass bedstead, bedside cabinets and a dressing table.

The twin room is spacious with two single beds, bedside cabinets, a dressing table and double mirrored wardrobes.

There is a further shower room on this floor that is suitable for people who may be mobility impaired as has a shower with hand rail and easy entry door along with shower chair, WC and wash hand basin.

External: Parking for several cars. Dog proof, lawned rear garden with patio area and dining furniture.
