Modern 4-bedroom townhouse located in a residential area of Cardiff, just 10-15 minutes’ walk from the Principality Stadium, Cardiff Castle and all the shops, restaurants and bars that the bustling city centre has to offer.

Ideal for a family gathering or a large group of friends, this property provides wonderful living spaces for up to 14 guests to relax and enjoy, with a sleek, well-equipped kitchen, 4 comfortable bedrooms and an enclosed garden with patio and garden furniture.

Glan yr Afon Cardiff Townhouse is just off Cathedral Road near the City Centre. The house itself is a midlink townhouse.

Cardiff has hosted many great sporting events, including the Rugby World Cup, Champions League Final, Rugby European Finals, 6 Nations Rugby, Test Match cricket and many more. There is a great buzz about the city when these events take place and with Glan yr Afon being so close to the stadium, it is the ideal location to stay whilst visiting the city.

With a wide range of theatres, halls and galleries, there is a lively entertainment scene in and around Cardiff, which features opera, ballet, musicals and offers live music from world-class acts.

Cardiff Bay is a short bus or taxi ride away where you will find the Wales Millennium Centre and Y Senedd (The National Assembly building), as well as numerous other attractions. These include trendy bars and restaurants, jet boat rides, Olympic size swimming pool and leisure facilities, White Water Centre, Yacht Club, as well as numerous walks and cycle routes around the Cardiff Bay Barrage.


Barry Island (9 miles) made famous by the TV show Gavin and Stacey is worth a visit as is stunning Southerndown. 20 miles.


Many walks to be enjoyed including Cardiff's Centenary Walk, Taff Trail and exploring the many acres of Cardiff's parkland. 0.1 miles


You can join the Taff Trail just a few hundred yards from the house. It runs for 55 miles (88km) from Brecon to Cardiff. 0.1 miles

Water Sports

Cardiff International White Water (CIWW) - Canoeing and white water rafting facilities including kayaking, hydro speed and hot-dogging. All equipment can be provided. 2.5 miles


Being a coastal city, the areas around Cardiff have some superb sea fishing. Charter boats can be hired from Cardiff Bay. 2 miles

The River Taff is a recovering salmon river that also holds huge stocks of wild trout and grayling. Day tickets available from local associations. 0.2 miles


There are many courses in the area including the prestigious Celtic Manor, a previous host to the Ryder Cup. 18 miles. One of the closest courses is Cottrell Park, an idyllic venue set in the heart of 400 acres of beautiful parkland. 7 miles

Pony trekking

Surrounded by 35 acres of parkland close to the City Centre is Cardiff Riding School. All aspects of horse riding and care are catered for. 1 mile.
