A comfortable, ground floor, two bedroom apartment, close to the village of Thollon Les Memise.
The village of Thollon Les Memise is just a 20 minute walk from the Grand Roc Apartments where the tourist information, mini market and boulangerie open all year round. There is also a selection of (English speaking) cafes, bars and restaurants all of which are open during the skiing season, thereafter alternating their opening hours on a rota. The French ski-school and three ski hire shops are open throughout the skiing season. There is a very reasonably priced crèche next to the telecabine (please check locally for availability).  Alternatively, the expansive ski area of Porte du Soleil is 40 minutes away by car.

Thollon is not just a winter ski resort; there are also many activities to be enjoyed in the summer season including: hiking and rambling, white water rafting, mountain biking, bike tours, walking, paragliding, parasending, golf, sightseeing and good old fashioned relaxing.
Lake Geneva and Evian also come alive in the summer, with plenty of activities on and around the lake: boating tours / paddle steamers, windsurfing, water-skiing, swimming, fishing, sailing and canoeing, the casino, an array of excellent restaurants and plenty of shopping.

Accommodation: The comfortable lounge area has two sofa's, TV/DVD, a Playstation 2, and speakers for IPOD. The dining area has a table and chairs for six.
The fitted kitchen is well equipped and has a microwave, grill, oven, and a three-ring hob. There is also a washing machine /dryer in the apartment.
There are two bedrooms: one with a king size bed which can be split into two with a view of the mountains and the other room has bunk beds. Duvets and pillows, bed linen, and towels are provided. There is also a cot available (cot bedding is not supplied)
The bathroom contains a shower over bath, wash hand basin and WC.
Externally - There is a good sized swimming pool open during July & August
