Ref F11 The Villa, Solana, Florida

This spacious vacation home is furnished to an extremely high standard and will offer a very comfortable and convenient base for your visit to the Disney area.

When you open the front door you are welcomed into an open-plan spacious formal sitting room and formal dining area. The stairway leads up to five of the six bedrooms. Walking through the sitting room / dining area takes you into the main TV lounge complete with large screen TV and comfortable seating. The fully equipped kitchen is adjacent and has a separate dining area overlooking the pool area for casual and breakfast dining.

Patio doors from the kitchen lead out to the pool area where you will find the usual array of chairs, loungers and tables for al-fresco dining. The home has a shady lanai area so you can take refuge from the sun when it gets too much. A security fence (easily opened by an adult) protects the swimming pool for the safety of young children. Through the fence you will find a beautiful pool and spa - both can be heated if required. The lower section of the pool screen has been fitted with opaque panels to provide added privacy.

Back in the villa and off from the main TV lounge you will find the half bathroom and a utility room with washer and dryer leading out to the garage. Later in 2007 the garage will be fitted with games equipment for added entertainment.

The main master suite with its en-suite bathroom is also accessed from the TV lounge. Elegantly furnished you will find a US king size bed, TV and a beautiful, spacious en-suite bathroom with double sinks, toilet, bath and separate shower enclosure.

Moving upstairs you will find a spacious galleried hallway overlooking the main lounge with the other five bedroom suites leading off. Two suites have US king sized beds, their own TV and en-suite bathrooms. One suite has a UK king sized bed, TV and en-suite bathroom. One bedroom has two twin beds with the final bathroom being en-suite. The remaining bedroom has a bunk bed arrangement with a twin bed on the upper deck and a full size bed (UK double size) on the lower deck. This room has a TV, DVD and Playstation 2 and is ideal for children.

Completing the range of amenities within the home is a telephone service that offers FREE calls throughout the USA, Canada and to 40 selected countries (UK, Ireland and Mexico are included in this list). Just pick up the phone and dial - no calling cards needed. There is a crib (cot) and highchair included in the equipment too.

There is a local management company on hand to offer any assistance you may need whilst in residence.

The Resort

The clubhouse hosts a number of facilities and amenities that are FREE to use for families renting homes at the resort. The communal pool area has a beautifully landscaped swimming pool with a hot tub / spa. Other outdoor activities include a sandy volleyball court, a small soccer pitch and a putting green where you can get in a little practise prior to your afternoon round at any of the 60 or so local golf courses. For the children there is a play area and if al-fresco dining is on the agenda you will find a BBQ area available to you.

Moving indoors into the 4,000 sq ft clubhouse you will find the resort reception desk, a very comfortable TV lounge offering wireless internet access so you can use your laptop to keep in touch with things back home and at work. If you didn't bring your laptop you can use one of the computers provided in the internet room adjacent to the main lounge. Fitness fans will be pleased to see the exercise room that is well equipped with a range of work-out machines designed to keep you trim. For the less energetic there is a games room with arcade machines.
