Reviews

The cottage was lovely. Very clean and well equiped. A perfect base to explore mumbles and the surrounding area.

Mrs H,

It was great to stay in a dog friendly cottage that was also dog secure, so we could let them in the garden without worrying about the escaping.

Mrs H,

A very comfortable house. Very warm and cosy after our cold morning walks. The little extras make it a real gem.

Mrs S,

Had a really comfortable week at St Judes Owners are really helpful and couldn't do enough for us.

Mrs R,

We loved our week at St Judes, the house is spotless and has everything needed for a great holiday. The location was perfect, overlooking the bay and having a garage to park the car is a great bonus. Parking in Mumbles is not easy as our friends that had a different house the same week discovered. Hopefully we will be back.

Mrs S,

With the level of provision, degree of comfort and location in Mumbles this cottage is unbeatable.

Mrs L,

Lovely property, great location- a real home from home for humans and dogs make! We loved it!

Mr M,

We have stayed in 4/5 star hotels throughout the world and ST Judes is equal to them.

Mr L,

A very spacious and well equipped property with great views out onto the bay. We really appreciated the extra space of the second upstairs living room. The road outside is busy but the double glazing was effective so this was not a problem. Great location- an easy walk into mumbles and the beaches along the coast are within reach

Mr G,

Great cottage in a good location. Handy garage for off road parking was appreciated. Garage fits. Landrover Freelander 2 (without roof bars)

Mr J,

Property was clean and well furnished with everything we needed for a very enjoyable week. The location is perfect too for exploring the local area with lovely coastal walks right on the doorstep.

Mr C,

A 10/10 property. Perfect location that afforded us the chance to explore the area on foot. So many beaches and walks from the doorstep. Mumbles is beautiful and the house equally so, we didn’t want or need for anything.

Ms M,

The cottage at St. Judes was perfect for our needs for a happy and comfortable holiday. For us the ease of parking, the views, being dog friendly and the comfortable king size beds were just excellent. The property is really near the Mumbles town centre with the friendly pubs, coffee shops and restaurants accepting us and our chorkie. We couldn't really ask for more. The goodies on arrival were really appreciated.

Ms H,

A lovely cottage, with great views and excellent amenities. The owners thoughtfully leave several welcome cakes, biscuits and teas and coffee sachets.

Ms S,

We stayed at St Judes in early June. For us the location was excellent, with an enclosed rear garden (for the pouch) and garage parking. It's a light and spacious cottage and we enjoyed our stay immensely. The Mumbles and the Gower peninsula is stunning!

Mrs B,

A very comfortable cottage right by the sea and busy main road. Very clean and well presented. Some steps in the garden leading to the garage which could be a problem for disabled people.

Mr E,

Very clean and comfortable with lots of space Great location though the road is very busy so you need to be aware of traffic noise though the double glazing does reduce this significantly but you can’t open the windows unless you want to compete with the traffic However great view and the house has been refurbished to a high standard High quality welcome pack

Mrs J,

We had a fabulous week at your lovely house, loved Langland Bay, Surfside cafe and Langland Brasserie. We even got some sun on our faces, sitting outside sipping wine, watching the surfers. Also loved Gin and Tapas, Verdi’s and Pierre bistro. We ate and drank very well. Thanks for the welcome back to Cheers.

Mrs H,

We have visited mumbles for over 12 years and stayed in lots of properties, but this is our favourite one yet. A beautiful home in a lovely location. Went to lots of beaches and walks and had sunny but cold weather. We can’t wait to stay again thank you. Thanks for the welcome hamper too, it’s been a few years since we have had these in properties at mumbles it was greatly appreciated by us and our Beagle

Past Customer,

We have stayed in Mumbles many times in different cottages. Our stay here at St Judes has been a happy one. Everything we needed is catered for including the welcome goodies. The only thing wrong was the rain, but never mind we enjoyed the comfort provided in this delightful cottage. Thank you

Past Customer,

Location

Mumbles is the first pretty fishing village one meets when venturing away from Swansea towards the world acclaimed area of outstanding beauty known as the Gower. It is a great place to set up your base either to explore the myriad activities in, around and along the coastline or to settle and just luxuriate in the local resources that make Mumbles a great destination in its own right.
