Motorhome Hire Terms

Deposit

This is a £1000.00 fully refundable deposit payable one week before hire date commences by cheque, debit card or credit card.

This is fully refundable on safe return of the vehicle to the agreed location,
on the agreed date and time, in the same condition as it was let out, with the toilet empty, the interior clean (including all cooking utensils and appliances) and a full tank of fuel.

The security deposit will be returned within 14 days after the hire is complete (as long as terms and conditions are met) allowing for speeding tickets, parking fines, congestion charges and any other costs to reach Home From Home Wales Ltd.

The security deposit will be used to fund any loss or damage to equipment, fixtures and fittings or negligent damage to the vehicle

European Hire

There is an additional charge for European Travel (Outside mainland UK). A quotation is available upon request.
 
The vehicle must NOT be taken outside the UK without prior consent from us. Additional charges will apply for Euro insurance etc..

Extras

• Min age of 25 with 3 years full licence.
• Additional driver UK only: £6.00 per
  person per day, clean driving licence (max 3).
• Additional driver Europe: £6.00 per person.

• Vehicles can be hired for Weekend,
  Mid-Week and Full Week periods.
• No single day hires are permitted.

Minimum hire period varies from 3 to 7 days depending on the season.

Availability

If, due to circumstances beyond our control, the vehicle is not available, we reserve the right to offer a suitable alternative vehicle.  If this is not acceptable, or another vehicle is not available, the liability of Home From Home Wales will be limited to a refund of monies paid, and the hirer shall have no further claims against Home From Home Wales.

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is recommended which will cover cancellation costs, personal luggage, money loss, personal accident and medical expenses.

Please note: Our Cancellation Scheme does not apply to Motorhomes. Individual holiday insurance is strongly recommended.

Reservation

A reservation is only binding once it has been confirmed by Home From Home Wales and a deposit of 25% has been received for the booking.  Once the reservation has been confirmed, an invoice will be issued by post for the remaining balance.

Settlement of the remaining balance will be due 6 weeks prior to the hire start date.

Payment

Payment is by credit card (Visa or Master card) or debit cards.

For late bookings (less than 6 weeks before the hire start date) the full price is payable on booking.

Vehicles will not be released without cleared payment received in full.

Collection

Please allow one hour for the hand-over at the depot. This time is required to complete all the required documentation and to demonstrate the vehicle fully. 

Collection of vehicles is between 15:00 and 17:00.  A time slot will be booked for your collection.

Return

Please allow one hour for the hand-over at the depot.

This time is required to perform all the after hire checks to ensure that all terms and conditions have been upheld.

Vehicles must be returned clean and in the same condition as they left the depot. Charges will be incurred for any failure to comply with the terms andconditions stated and signed.

Return of vehicles is between 09:00 and 11:00.  A time slot will be booked for your return.

Late Return: If you will be late returning your vehicle, Days Motor Home Hire must be advised immediately. Failure to do so may result in prosecution for driving whilst uninsured.

An additional late return charge of £50 per hour will be payable for all late returns.

Pets

There is a pet surcharge of £25
