A light and airy cottage conveniently situated in the heart of Newton Village, which sits on the hill, just above the seaside village of Mumbles. The cottage, which benefits from a large enclosed garden, has a convenience store/newsagent and one of the best butchers/deli/greengrocer in the area, right on in its doorstep. There are also two pubs a short walk away: The Rock and Fountain offers a programme of live music whilst The Newton has very reasonably priced pub food.
Mumbles is an easy ten minute walk downhill although the return journey involves quite a demanding climb. The blue flag beaches of Langland Bay and Caswell Bay are within walking distance where you will find a surf school, tennis and a choice of cafes and Brasserie. And for golfers, the stunning Langland Bay golf club with its' amazing sea views is only half a mile away.
Accommodation:
Ground floor: the lounge and dining areas are open plan with a table and chairs for four, soft seating for 5 and a flatscreen TV/DVD. The fitted kitchen is very light and airy and has patio doors into the rear garden. There is breakfast table and chairs for four, a fridge/freezer, a washing machine, a dishwasher, and an oven and hob.
First floor: there are two bedrooms a double and a twin. The family bathroom has a bath with shower over, wash hand basin and a WC.
External: there is a south facing enclosed rear garden with patio and garden furniture. There is also a shed for storage of bikes etc.
Sleeps 4: 1 double, 1 twin
